Successful completion of the Shades of History WebQuest is based on the following:

Team Project

Use the Shades of History Project Rubric to guide and evaluate final team projects.

Final Essay

Use the 6+1 Trait Writing Scoring Guide from NWREL or another standard writing rubric to guide and evaluate the final essay (Closing Activity 3).

Additional Assignments

The following assignments should also be completed individually:

• Pre- and post-Webquest quiz
• Notes from role-based research
• Team Exhibit Summary
• Participation in small group and class discussions
